Pelling is a small town in West Sikkim that offers the most breathtaking, close-up view of the Kanchenjunga and its surrounding mountain ranges. The town is divided into Upper, Middle, and Lower Pelling. It is the base for exploring some of Sikkim's most important sites, including the Pemayangtse Monastery, one of the oldest in the state, and the Rabdentse Ruins, the former capital of Sikkim. The famous Singshore Bridge, one of the highest suspension bridges in Asia, is also nearby. Pelling is a paradise for trekkers and nature lovers.
