Parasnath Hills is the highest mountain peak in Jharkhand and one of the most important pilgrimage centers for Jains. The hill is named after the 23rd Tirthankara, Parshvanatha, who is believed to have attained moksha (salvation) here. The summit is dotted with numerous beautiful Jain temples (Shikharji), which are reached by a strenuous trek of about 9 kilometers. The pilgrimage is considered highly sacred, and the trek offers beautiful views of the surrounding forests and hills. It is a place of great spiritual significance and natural beauty.
