Betla National Park is one of the oldest tiger reserves in India, known for its rich biodiversity. The park is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including elephants, leopards, Indian bison (gaur), and numerous species of deer. While tiger sightings are rare, the park's beautiful landscape of sal and bamboo forests, and its diverse fauna, make it a rewarding destination for wildlife lovers. The park also has historical sites, including two old forts of the Chero kings. Both jeep and elephant safaris are available for exploring the park.
