A UNESCO World Heritage site, the Valley of Flowers is a high-altitude Himalayan valley known for its meadows of endemic alpine flowers and outstanding natural beauty. During the monsoon season, the entire valley transforms into a vibrant carpet of countless species of flowers. The trek to the valley is a breathtaking experience, passing through dense forests and along the Pushpawati River. It is a place of serene and almost mythical beauty. The nearby Hemkund Sahib, a revered Sikh pilgrimage site, is often visited along with the valley.
