It is one of the few places in Odisha that experiences snowfall during the winter, which is a rare phenomenon in the region. The area is inhabited by tribal communities and offers a serene and off-the-beaten-path travel experience. The journey to Daringbadi through the Ghat roads is scenic, passing through dense forests and offering beautiful views.
