Often referred to as the 'Kashmir of Odisha,' Daringbadi is a hill station in the Kandhamal district, known for its cool climate, pine forests, coffee plantations, and beautiful valleys. It is one of the few places in Odisha that experiences snowfall during the winter, which is a rare phenomenon in the region. The area is inhabited by tribal communities and offers a serene and off-the-beaten-path travel experience. The journey to Daringbadi through the Ghat roads is scenic, passing through dense forests and offering beautiful views.
