Anandpur Sahib is one of the most sacred places in Sikhism, located in the foothills of the Himalayas. It is here that the Khalsa Panth (the Sikh warrior community) was founded by the tenth Guru, Guru Gobind Singh. The town is dotted with beautiful gurdwaras, with the Takht Sri Keshgarh Sahib being the main shrine. The town comes alive during the Hola Mohalla festival, a vibrant three-day festival of martial arts, mock battles, and cultural events that showcases the martial spirit of the Sikhs.

October to March (especially during Hola Mohalla)
