Patiala is a city that reflects the royal grandeur of Punjab's past. The former capital of a princely state, the city is known for its distinct style of architecture and its cultural traditions. Key attractions include the Qila Mubarak complex, the heart of the old city, and the magnificent Sheesh Mahal (Palace of Mirrors), which has a fine collection of art and artifacts.
