Located in Udaipur, the Tripura Sundari Temple, also known as Matabari, is one of the 51 Shakti Peethas in India. This sacred Hindu shrine is dedicated to Goddess Tripura Sundari and attracts thousands of pilgrims. The temple is a small, cubical structure with a conical dome, built in the typical Bengali 'char-chala' style. The nearby Kalyan Sagar lake is home to large, tame tortoises.
