Kurukshetra is a land of immense historical and religious importance, revered as the site where the epic battle of the Mahabharata was fought and where Lord Krishna delivered the sermon of the Bhagavad Gita to Arjuna. The entire region is considered a holy pilgrimage site, dotted with numerous temples, sacred tanks (sarovars), and sites associated with the epic. Key attractions include the Brahma Sarovar, one of the largest man-made bathing tanks, the Sheikh Chilli's Tomb, and the Krishna Museum. It is a place where mythology and history converge.
