Jog Falls, created by the Sharavathi River, is one of India's most spectacular plunge waterfalls. During the peak monsoon season, the falls are a breathtaking sight as four distinct cascades—Raja, Rani, Roarer, and Rocket—thunder down a cliff from a height of 253 meters. The sheer power and scale of the falls create a mesmerizing and dramatic natural spectacle. There are several viewpoints to admire the falls, and for the more adventurous, a challenging trek to the bottom of the falls offers a completely different and powerful perspective.
